The fact that he used to be a builder really put me at ease, the building background must make for a deeper understanding of houses and the issues they can hide. Matt went right through the property and gave me a detailed report including floor levels, photos of everything with a detailed description of condition that I could understand. I got photos from under the floor, internal, external and photos of non maintained gutters that you just can't see from ground level, they were full of leaf litter and were no longer functioning. I spoke to Matt right after and the read my detailed report. The place looked amazing on the photos and the video but Matt's investigation showed some major defects and I was able to retract my offer on the house and he saved me from buying a dud house. I was really happy with Matt's work and I'll use him on the next one.”
